Niamh Downey is Senior Manager for Bidder Development across EMEA at Oath, the digital house of media brands formed in this year including Yahoo, AOL, Microsoft (ads), TechCrunch, Brightroll, Gemini and One by AOL.
Niamh is responsible for the growth and development of multiple DSP partners integrated across all Oath Exchanges (BrightRoll Exchange for Display and Video, ONE Mobile, ONE Display, ONE Video and Microsoft display advertising). Niamh joined Yahoo in November 2014 as an Audience and Programmatic Specialist, managing Agency Trading Desk relationships across Yahoo’s audience and programmatic platforms before being promoted to her current role as Senior Manager in the Open Demand EMEA team.
Niamh’s career in ad tech began in early 2012 as an Agency Sales Manager at DataXu. Before moving to London, she was in a Business Development role at Google Ireland, where she supported the creation and execution of the EMEA go-to-market strategy for Google Apps and Chromebooks. Previous to this she was a Sales and Marketing Executive at Newsaccess Media Intelligence in Dublin.
Niamh holds a Masters in Marketing from Dublin City University and a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and French from Dundalk Institute of Technology.
Niamh is passionate about gender equality and is co-chair of the Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN) at Oath, advocating female leadership and working closely with other Employee Resource Groups such as Stripes and Prism to promote diversity and inclusion at all levels within the business.
